Brighte Loan with Sackett Services: A Sustainable Step Forward

About the Loan:

The Tasmanian Government's Energy Saver Loan Scheme (ESLS), in collaboration with Brighte, is an innovative initiative, and offers a remarkable opportunity.

The three-year, 0% interest Brighte Loan of up to $10,000 is a game-changer for both residential and business customers.

It's designed to fund the installation of energy-efficient products listed on the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) Act registry

Sackett Services, as a proud Brighte ESLS partner, streamlines the application process for our clients. Some of our Sackett customers are already enjoying the installation of wall-and floor-mount units, ducted systems and Sanden units.

The Brighte Loan isn't just a financial tool, it's a step towards a more sustainable future. It's a rare opportunity that calls for action; a chance to enhance your home or business's energy efficiency while managing costs effectively.

It's a 'Use it or Lose It' scenario.

The benefits of this scheme are tangible and immediate, making it an intelligent choice for anyone looking to make a positive environmental impact and save on energy bills. The offer won’t last forever.

The scheme has seen significant uptake, with over 1,000 applications in the first six months, emphasising the support for local installers and contributing to renewable energy generation.

How the Loan Works:

Participating in this scheme is easy and impactful.

The loan covers a range of products, including rooftop solar panels, battery storage, electric heating and cooling systems, insulation, window glazing, and energy-efficient appliances.

Customers select a product from accredited vendors and proceed with the straightforward application process assisted by our Sackett team. When you choose to work with us to access the loan, we send the loan referral to you, through Brighte, and Brighte pays us when the installation of your investment is finalised.

With loan amounts ranging from $500 to $10,000, this initiative is an accessible way to reduce electricity costs and improve energy efficiency.

Managing your loan and keeping track of your energy-saving investment is simplified with the Brighte app, an essential tool for a seamless experience from application to repayment.

What’s the Fine Print?

Eligible applicants for the ESLS in Tasmania include homeowners, residential landlords, small businesses, and community organisations (with annual electricity consumption under 150MWh). The loan, capped at $10,000 per property, is for installing energy-efficient products in Tasmanian properties.

No income, house value, or asset tests are required, but applicants must have the financial capacity to repay the loan. A single applicant can receive a maximum of $10,000 across different properties. However, if you've already accessed the loan for your primary residence, this does not disqualify your small business from obtaining a separate loan for its premises.

Brighte's 0% Interest Payment Plan includes a small weekly account keeping fee of $2.15 and a one-time $75 establishment fee. There are late fees for missed payments, capped at $49.90 per year, but they aim to be flexible and supportive. Their customer support team is available seven days a week for assistance with any adjustments or hardship situations.
