Taylor Williamson’s journey in the electrical trade started with his apprenticeship at Sackett Services in 2007. Realising young he wanted a career in the electrical industry, Taylor saw it as a skill set that could open doors, and be relevant. In 2013, he moved interstate, working for various companies on the eastern seaboard of Australia, and expanding his skills and industry experience. In 2022, Taylor returned to Sackett, bringing back a wealth of knowledge that is greatly benefiting the team and the business.
Taylor enjoys the team environment at Sackett's, and appreciates that it is a team filled with skilled and diverse individuals who collaborate to solve problems and consistently strive to exceed customer expectations. Over the past two years, he has learned a lot from his colleagues, reinforcing his belief in the importance of teamwork. His advice to newcomers in the field is clear: “The future is bright in our industry. These skills can take you around the world.”
Outside of work, Taylor is a former footballer who enjoys spending his free time with his family. His hero is his wife, he is dedicated to her and their two young daughters, and they regularly spend weekends at their shack at White Beach. Family time, whether it's fishing or simply relaxing by the beach, is something he treasures.
His personal motto, “Work hard and life will be easy,” highlights his belief in the value of hard work, a principle that has guided him throughout his career and personal life. He remains positive about the industry and the opportunities it presents, and is a valued member of the Sackett team.
