Project Completion: Heating & Cooling Installation at Queens Walk Social Housing – Hobart

Sackett Services is proud to announce the successful completion of our Mechanical Electrical works for the Queens Walk social housing development in Hobart for Fairbrother—a milestone project consisting of 67 brand-new apartments to accompany the existing units on site, this site now includes upgraded infrastructure and landscaping.

Valued at $30.835 million, this important development is part of Tasmania’s broader commitment to increasing the availability of safe, affordable housing. Sackett Services was engaged to deliver complete heating and cooling solutions for every unit, ensuring comfort, energy efficiency, and reliability for future residents.

We selected the Mitsubishi Electric GS Series reverse cycle air conditioning units for this project—an ideal choice for residential applications where performance, quiet operation, and energy efficiency are essential. These systems offer:
